Introduction

It conforms to ASTM A312 TP317L (seamless and welded pipe), ASTM A213 TP317L (tube), ASTM A269, and ASME SA312, with equivalent designations EN 1.4438 and UNS S31703. This chemical grade stainless steel pipe is the preferred choice for flue gas desulfurization (FGD) systems, chemical processing plants, pulp and paper mills, and pharmaceutical equipment where 316L is insufficient.
