Introduction

This heat resistant stainless steel plate combines the corrosion resistance of 316 with titanium stabilization, preventing sensitization and carbide precipitation in the heat‑affected zone of welds.

Note: 316Ti is the preferred grade for welded equipment operating in the sensitization temperature range (450‑850°C), such as exhaust systems, heat exchangers, and refinery vessels. For purely low‑temperature, non‑welded applications, 316L may be more cost‑effective.
