Introduction

Hastelloy B-3 Alloy (also Hastelloy B3, Alloy B-3, Nickel Alloy B-3, UNS N10675 Alloy) is a nickel‑molybdenum alloy designed to offer exceptional hydrochloric acid resistance while overcoming the thermal stability limitations of its predecessor, B‑2. It conforms to ASTM B622 (seamless pipe/tube), ASTM B619 (welded pipe), ASTM B335 (bar), and ASTM B575 (plate/sheet), as well as ASME SB575 and SB622. This advanced corrosion resistant alloy provides outstanding performance in reducing acid environments with significantly improved fabrication characteristics.
