Introduction

Incoloy 800 Alloy (UNS N08800) is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy containing 30–35% nickel, 19–23% chromium, with the balance iron. This heat resistant nickel alloy offers good strength and excellent resistance to oxidation and carburization in high-temperature atmospheres. It provides general corrosion resistance to many aqueous media and resists stress corrosion cracking. This high temperature alloy 800 is the preferred material for heat exchangers, petrochemical processing, furnace equipment, industrial furnaces, power generation, pressure vessels, hydrogen production, and steam superheaters.
