Introduction

Incoloy 330 Alloy (UNS N08330) is an austenitic nickel-iron-chromium alloy designed for high-temperature service with excellent resistance to oxidation, carburization, and thermal shock. The alloy contains 34–37% nickel, 17–20% chromium, with the balance iron, and features controlled silicon content (0.75–1.50%) which enhances oxidation resistance and carburization resistance at elevated temperatures. This heat resistant alloy 330 maintains a fully austenitic microstructure at all temperatures and is not subject to embrittlement from sigma phase formation. This high temperature alloy 330 delivers superior thermal shock resistance and excellent thermal stability, making it the preferred material for furnace tubes, radiant tubes, heat treatment furnaces, industrial furnaces, petrochemical processing, thermal processing, and annealing furnaces.
