Introduction

Inconel 718 (UNS N07718 / GH4169) is a precipitation‑strengthened nickel‑based superalloy with excellent comprehensive properties from -253°C to 650°C. Its yield strength below 650°C ranks first among wrought superalloys, combined with outstanding fatigue resistance, radiation resistance, oxidation and corrosion resistance, as well as good weldability and workability. Inconel 718 round bar, sheet, plate, strip, wire, spring wire, seamless tube, forging, and fastener are widely used for turbine discs, turbine blades, gas turbine parts, bolts, nuts, rings, and springs in aerospace, nuclear energy, petroleum industry, and extrusion molds. Available in cold rolled sheet, hot rolled bar, annealed wire, precision strip, and welding wire per ASTM B637 or AMS 5662/5663.
