Introduction

Inco601 / Alloy 601) is a solid‑solution/nickel‑chromium/high‑temperature alloy that delivers outstanding performance up to 1200°C. It offers excellent oxidation resistance, good corrosion resistance in aqueous environments, and high mechanical strength, while being readily formed, machined, and welded. Inconel 601 round bar, sheet, plate, strip, wire, seamless tube, pipe, forging, and fastener are widely used in heat exchangers, furnace parts, thermowells, radiant tubes, and chemical processing equipment. Alloy 601 seamless tube and heanel 601 (UNS N06t exchanger tube are common choices for high‑temperature, carburization‑resistant applications. Applications

Furnace components – Inconel 601 round bar and plate serve in radiant tubes, thermowells, retorts, muffles, and furnace baffles up to 1200°C.

(2) Chemical processing equipment – Alloy 601 pipe, fitting, and fastener resist corrosion in petrochemical reactors, nitric acid plants, and caustic evaporators.
