Introduction

Inconel 600 (UNS N06600 / Alloy 600) is a nickel‑chromium alloy with excellent corrosion resistance due to its high nickel content combined with chromium. It performs well in many corrosive media, especially chlorine‑containing environments such as hydrochloric acid and salt spray, offering good resistance to stress corrosion cracking, dry chlorine, and hydrogen chloride gas. With a high melting point and good high‑temperature strength up to 1200°C.

Inconel 600 round bar, sheet, plate, strip, wire, seamless tube, pipe, forging, and fastener are widely used in heat exchangers, furnace parts, thermowells, and chemical processing equipment. Alloy 600 seamless tube and heat exchanger tube are common choices for nuclear and petrochemical applications. Applications
