Introduction

N06622 Alloy (UNS N06622 / Inconel 622 / Hastelloy C22) is a nickel‑based alloy with nickel as the main component. Thanks to the strengthening effect of molybdenum and niobium solid solution in the nickel‑chromium matrix, it offers ultra‑high strength and extraordinary fatigue resistance from low temperatures up to 1093°C. Alloy C22 round bar, sheet, plate, strip, wire, seamless tube, pipe, forging, and fastener are widely used in the aviation industry, flue gas desulfurization, chemical reactors, heat exchangers, and pollution control equipment. The high chromium and molybdenum content provides excellent corrosion resistance in many corrosive media, from highly oxidizing to general corrosive environments. Inconel 622 also shows strong anti‑corrosion performance in chloride‑contaminated media such as seawater, geothermal water, neutral salt, and brine. Hastelloy C22 welding wire and filler rod ensure reliable joints. Available in cold rolled sheet, hot rolled bar, spring wire, flange, and fitting etc.

Applications
